As mentioned, this collection features Blackthorne, bundled together with two other popular titles in the 90s, The Lost Vikings and Rock 'N Roll Racing. The game comes with its original SNES and Mega Drive versions, ported to work on modern hardware. With this, you can play them on your computer.
More than that, there are also new features added to the console versions. For one, you can now save your progress anywhere in the game. You can also enjoy the Watch Mode, which lets you see the whole game played from start to finish. Even better, you can skip through to the parts you want to see or take over control to play it from any point in the recording.
There is also a Definitive Edition, which comes with nifty features, such as an auto-mapping tool. However, it also has functions such as level-themed screen borders that can confuse things by looking like scenery. Unlike the original console versions, the Definitive Edition also lacks the save options. Players will also find the game a little clunky and the controls a bit problematic.
